Documents on the PUCN's Website Now More Accessible

Sepember 2012

As a result of requests from PUCN website users, online documents are now available in Portable Document Format (PDF), making them easier to access, save and print.

On August 29, the PUCN's Information Technology staff completed the months-long process of converting documents filed as part of active dockets to PDFs, as well as news releases, agendas and other online documents. Many closed dockets have also been converted. All closed dockets should be available as PDFs by the end of September. In the meantime, any unconverted documents will automatically open using WebXtender.

Prior to the August 29 conversion, PUCN documents were accessible online only through the WebXtender program, which requires users to download additional software and isn't 100% compatible with MAC computers and some Internet browsers.

PDFs are more accessible from any type of computer and Internet browser without having to load additional software other than Acrobat Reader, which is a free program most people already use, making the documents easier to access, save and print for all users.
