Copies of transcripts of PUCN proceedings may be obtained from the court reporter who transcribed the proceeding or from the PUCN.
To obtain transcripts from the official court reporter
- The PUCN contracts with various court reporters for transcription services. The court reporters' duplication fees per page to outside entities vary depending on the reporter.
- For court reporter contact information, contact the PUCN's Business Process Services division. You will need to know the docket number, date and type of proceeding to complete your request.
To obtain transcripts from the PUCN
- The PUCN will post transcriptions of all evidentiary hearings and workshops. Other select proceedings will be posted at the discretion of the presiding officer. Transcriptions of PUCN proceedings are generally available within 15 business days after the close of a proceeding. Transcriptions will be
available for download at no cost to the public at http://ob.nv.gov/PUC/.
- If a member of the public requests that the PUCN prepare physical copies of a transcript, the PUCN will charge a fee for the actual cost of providing the transcript pursuant to NRS 239.052. Fees for physical copies of a transcript are posted on the PUCN’s online Public Records Request Form.
