The Commission monitors, collects, audits and disburses assessments that support the Nevada Energy Assistance Program and the Nevada Weatherization Assistance Program. However, the Commission does not administer these or any other assistance programs. Weatherization Program
Weatherization services are provided at no cost to low-income, qualified applicants to help lower utility bills, including the installation of solar screens, weather stripping, blowing insulation, repairing broken windows, and testing of household appliances-replacement if approved. Heating and air conditioning repairs and replacements, refrigerator efficiency checks and other energy saving devices may be repaired or replaced.

RTSN provides critical home repairs to low-income seniors, veterans and individuals with disabilities.

Washoe County
The Weatherization Assistance Program aims to reduce monthly utility bills by improving the energy efficiency of your home. Qualifying households in Washoe County receive these services free of charge.
Nevada Rural Housing
Weatherization & Home Repair
Carson, Churchill Lyon, Douglas or Storey Counties, North Las Vegas or Northern Rural Clark County
Assistance is provided for qualifying households living in single-family homes, multi-family units and manufactured housing. An audit is performed and then services are provided based on the findings of the audit.

Assist low-income persons in reducing utility bills by providing various energy conservation measures free of charge.
